Sending Files to Designer Wraps

The First Step in Creating New Signs, Wraps, or What Have You

Before anything else, we need any preexisting artwork to begin our projects. Please carefully read over our file specifications before sending us anything. When it’s done right the first try, everyone saves time.

With that said, we know it may get confusing. Give us a call if you need any help.

Send Smaller Files Over Email

Once you have read our file specifications, the next step is getting your files to us. If the files are small enough, email your files to sales@designerwraps.com.

If your files are too large for email, then using our FTP is your best bet…

Share Large Files Through Our FTP

Some artwork files are too large to send through email. If this is the case for you, email sales@designerwraps.com  and we’ll provide you the login and password for our secure FTP, located at ftp://ftp.designerwraps.net.

What Is an FTP?

An FTP, or File Transfer Protocol, is a safe way for computers to transfer files between a client and a server. In this case, the client is the local computer where your files are stored. The server is us here at Designer Wraps.

We use FTPs all the time without realizing it, like when we download software from the internet.

Which FTP Should I Use?

There are plenty of great FTPs out there – many of them for free. We recommend Filezilla or SmartFTP.

Or, Use Dropbox Instead

Or you can request a link via DropBox (or share your DropBox files with us) by emailing sales@designerwraps.com.
